How do I change my name?

You will need to update your name in numerous places if your name changes. See the chart below for instructions based on your affiliation type. If you have multiple affiliations (such as student and employee), you will need to follow instructions for each affilition type.

If you have updated your name across all systems as indicated as below, and continue to see the old name appear, email calnet-admin@berkeley.edu with your full name, former name, and student or employee ID number.

Please note: Name changes can take several hours to a couple days to work through all campus systems.
